  Question: How do I set up my humidifier?

  Answer: Please refer to the “How to Use” video specific to your model found below under the Videos & Support section or refer to the following directions:

  • Place humidifier on a water-resistant surface, a minimum of 12” from the wall.
  • Remove any tape holding components in place for shipping.
  • Fill with water, plug in and turn on (Note: Top Fill Cool Moisture Towers HEV615 & HEV620 and Top Fill Cool Mist Humidifier HUL570 require installation of float paddle before use.)

  Please note the following: For evaporative cool moisture humidifiers, it is recommended to wet the wick before use for faster humidification.

  • For warm mist humidifiers, it will take a minute or more for the water to boil and the unit to produce steam.
  • For ultrasonic cool mist humidifiers, elevating the humidifier on a table or shelf will help keep the mist from settling on the floor.
